Registration

Registering for classes can be exciting and sometimes overwhelming. There are three different times when a student will need to register for classes while attending Bountiful Junior High. See REGISTRATION HEALTH INFORMATION for details about different screenings and procedures. 

1. The first type of registration is during Student Course Request for the following school year. This is the time when students can request classes they want to take for the following school year. This process is done on myDSD in the spring. 
2. The second type of registration is Annual Registration. This is when students and parents will take care of important items before the school year starts. Including but not limited to: 
   1. Proof of immunization (7th grade and new students only)
   2. Paying school fees (District Junior High School Fees Schedule 2022-23 English - Spanish
   3. Signing required online documents
   4. Printing your new schedule 
3. The third type of registration is New Student Registration. This is for students who have moved into the school boundaries (including students transferring from within district)

 

Course requests for the next school year will take place in the spring. Although every effort is made to accommodate course requests, it is not a guarantee of a desired schedule. Please see Course Request page on Counseling Center site for more information about required classes and electives offered at Bountiful Junior High.

Please complete the following steps below to finalize the registration process for this school year:

Step 1: ACCESS YOUR GUARDIAN ACCOUNT

Access your Guardian Account through myDSD. If you do not have a Guardian Account, please complete the simple process by following these instructions:

Step 2: PAY FEES - FEE WAIVERS/PAYMENT PLAN - LUNCH APPLICATION

Pay Fees: Fees can be paid by clicking the Payments tab found on the top of the page in your myDSD Guardian Account. Select Pay for Fees/Lunch, then click Fees/Fines Owed, click on the fees to add them to your cart for checkout. Please look through the Optional Fees tab as well to ensure all fees are paid. Please note that Yearbooks and the Electronic Device Protection Plan can be purchased through Optional Fees. After paying fees, you may print a receipt by going to Payment, click on Customer Financial Statement, and select Print.

There are three different occasions during the school year when fees will need to be paid:

• Registration Fees - Due the first day of school. 
• First Semester Class Fees 
• Second Semester Class Fees

Fee Waivers: If you choose to apply for a Fee Waiver, the application and documentation must be turned in to the main office at the school by August 22, 2022. Please contact our main office with any questions.

Step 3: ELECTRONICALLY SIGN DOCUMENTS

Both guardians and students must sign multiple documents as part of registration. To do so, parent and student, should log in to their respective myDSD accounts. on the homepage under Notifications click on You have documents that need your attention. Open each document, read and click Accept at the bottom. 

The following must all be signed before the first day of school: 

• Bullying & Hazing Policy 
• Secondary Acceptable Use Agreement
• Student Busing Acceptable Use Agreement
• Student Data Collection Notice (Parent only)
• Dress Code & Grooming Policy
• Safe School Policy
• Device Use Agreement and Device Protection Plan

 

 

 

 

 

Welcome to Bountiful Junior High School!

The New Student Registration Packet needs to be filled out and returned with other required documents by all incoming new students unless you attended our feeder elementary schools - West Bountiful Elementary, Meadowbrook Elementary, Tolman, Holbrook.

Please contact our Counseling Office to schedule a registration if needed. 

The following items are required by Davis School District and BJHS before registering for school and we CAN NOT complete the registration process without ALL the following: 

• Copy of Birth Certificate
• Demographic Form
• Immunization Record - All shots must be up to date (Immunization Requirements)
• Two forms of Proof of Residency in BJHS boundaries
  • Examples of Proof of Residency documents: water bill, gas bill, power bill, contract to build, mortgage statement, bank statement or rental agreement with you name and in boundary address on it. PO boxes will not be accepted. 
• Release of Records
• Proof of Guardianship : Child's birth certificate, guardian's current and valid picture ID. 
• Transcripts of past grade/report cards (if available)
• Copy of IEP (Individualized Education Program) if students receives special education services. 
• McKinney-Vento Displaced/Homeless Information and Forms (Please complete regardless of status).

Guardians: You must have legal guardianship (from a court of law, signed by a judge) of your student in order to register him or her in school. If you do not, please contact the Student and Family Resources Department.
